Yes I had these you can go back to the previous or skip to the next by holding down the volume buttons

You can play the next track by holding down the volume + button. The middle round button allows you to pause and play.

Yes. I just bought a pair. All you do is hold down the volume up or volume down button to advance or go to the previous track. The manual even says so. Don’t listen to those who claim you can’t.

For my experience I could only control the volume. Maybe just use "Hey Siri" to help you with the next track if you have iPhone.
