• Depends on what you define as smaller size head. I think I have fairly large head (7 3/8 hat size if I recall correctly), and I have to extend the ear cups down to their full length, which looks to be about an inch and a half. So leaving them fully retracted will fit somewhat smaller head. BTW, I love these. Got them to mow with and they really do eliminate most of the engine noise. Easily paired with my iPhone playing Sirius XM.
