Use the supplied or a longer,if necessary,3.5mm male-to-male cable to connect from your tv's headphone output jack to the actual headphones for a wired connection. If you want a wireless bluetooth connection then you will need to get a separate bluetooth transmitter that will connect to an audio output cable from your tv. Read your tv manual and/or look at the rear and/or side for available audio output jacks. Audio output jacks send the tv's audio signal out through the proper connected cable to various devices, whether they be headphones, stereo receivers or amplifiers and external powered speakers just to name a few. If you're confused, try searching YouTube vids for tutorials in general or search your specific make and model tv on YouTube on how to get your tv capable of TRANSMITTING a Bluetooth signal. Amazon sells multitudes of various bluetooth transmitters and receivers and some that will both transmit and receive bluetooth signals. Hope that helps you and good luck!
