PTFE is safe, non-toxic, highly chemical-resistant and FDA approved. It does not break down into harmful chemicals when heated to normal cooking temperature.

The Indoor Grill/parts/accessories are BPA free, made without the use of PFOA/PFOS and are compliant with all state and FDA requirements on food contact material safety. Our products comply with applicable industry safety standards, including North American UL/cUL safety standards. The cooking tray has an FDA approved PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating that is made without PFOA. We hope this is helpful!
