“I'm looking to replace my processor, do you know what would be a good and cheap replacement for the Intel Core i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30 GHz? I am trying to spend as little as possible to have a better experience. What do you recommend?”

MemeMan, For a better experience, it would be advantageous to step up to the Intel Core i5-10400 Processor. The Intel Core i5 Processor is part of the newer launched 10th Generation Processor lineup which includes advancements over the 9th Generation Chips. The Intel Core i5 Processor has 6-Cores and with Hyper Threading available has 12-threads for those multi threaded applications. That's 2-more cores over the 9th Generation Intel Core i3-9100 Processor. Hyper Threading is not available on the 9th Generation Intel Core i3-9100 Processors. Also, cache is increased to 12mb of Intel Smart Cache over what the 9th Generation Intel Core i3 Processor accessed at 6mb. Thank you for choosing Intel
