• Both. I have a Noctua NH-U9S air cooler and it works wonders. but you could put a liquid cooler on it assuming you have space in your case.

• Hi Alexander, the Intel Core i7-10700 processor you are looking at does come with a heatsink/ fan thermal solution in the box. If you would like you choose a liquid cooled solution and you will see most come with their own fan as well. Thank you for choosing Intel.

• You may use either method to cool your Intel processor. The processor already comes with a fan, but you can purchase a liquid cooler. Not sure if you're able to do both concurrently though.

• I currently have a liquid cooler on mine but it does come with a stock intel air cooler in the box.
