- Best answer: Hello Keiffy75, the Intel Core i7-10700 requires a motherboard with a LGA 1200 sockets and 400 series chipset. The Gigabyte GA-H110-D3A has a LGA 1151 socket with 100 series chipset so it is not compatible.
