• I just upgraded my desktop 2004 version to 2016 without any issues at all. Good luck with yours.

• I have used Quickbooks for years. 2003 is very different than 2016 but probably just in the lay out of the software. One thing you should know about QB once you have upgraded and all your information is on the new version, you cannot download back to the old version to update with your new information. They are not interchangeable. You might also check to see if your computer is even compatible with the 2016 version. If you are running software that old, I'm guessing your computer might be that old as well? Good Luck.
