I'm sorry, I previously answered this question incorrectly (what I said was correct but not in answer to this question). The answer is YES you can e-file both Federal and State taxes with this Turbo Tax Deluxe plus State, but only the Federal is free - State is extra.

Please try again later.I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe plus State for 10 years, it allows you to install it on one computer but you can do Federal tax returns for 5 people and e-file those 5 Federal returns for free. You can also do State returns (one state-as in Iowa) for those 5 people, but none of the state returns have free e-files, they usually cost $19.99 - $24.99 each. The first paragraph in the description is incorrect, as the picture shows, it does include 1 State. If you need to file in more than 1 state (like IA and NE) the second state cost extra.
