However, can we each install the software to our separate computers or do we have to use the same computer? Is the answer the same if we use a downloaded version rather than a disk?”

• i have it installed on one computer and did mine and my daughter's federal returns from it. Our state has an efficient and free site to do state taxes so I only do the federal with turbo tax.
