“Is there an extra charge to file the State Return Electronically?”

• There has always been before. 5 Free federal filings but each state e-files usually cost around $19.95

• It was $24.95 to file the state electronically last year. So it did go up last year. The State return is included and you can print it out and mail it. But if you want to file electronically there is an additional charge. I can't seem to find what that charge will be this year. I hope they don't intend to raise it every year. They are approaching the cost of hiring someone at this pace. Intuit had better keep their prices in check or they will lose some of us!
