To answer your question - on windows machines you can just use the scroll lock key twice. To switch between windows and MAC you will have to invoke the hotkey mode by pressing and holding the Clear key for 2 seconds, press and hold the minus [-] key for 1 second and release the minus key and release the Clear Key. The KVM will enter Hotkey mode; indicated by a blinking of the CAPS Lock LED. Press and release the computers port number {1 or 2} and press Enter. The directions in the accompanying manual are very clear how to change and invoke the hot key. Hope that helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This device requires USB Mouse & Keyboards. You can toggle between the two computers buy using a keyboard hot key combination. I have wireless mice and keyboards that are controlled by a single USB but have not tried to use them yet. Hope this helps. It works well wired devices.
