yes you can just read the fine print that says which computers can be used together I found out after upgrading from a windows 7 to a 10 after being advised that this switch would work I purchased & tried but did not work so I found out by reading the fine print that says which 2 computers it will work with THE GEEK SQUAD checked online and found the NEWEGG who had the match for connection
