Some users have been unable to get it to work with wireless keyboard and mouse.

We would need to know the model number of the KVM to answer this question. Wireless keyboards and mice work in most cases with non emulated KVM's , however if the KVM has built in emulation for hot key switching there is no guarantee with wireless unless it is an IOGEAR Brand.
