• It will work with any device that has an HDMI output. The local TV loops through the transmitting device

• Thank you for choosing IOGEAR. The GW3DHDKIT will work with most cable boxes. Yes it should work with the Comcast X1 however this has not been tested so there is no guarantee. Again, thank you for choosing IOGEAR.
