- Answer After the initial charge mine latest through out the summer based on the solar charging maintaining the power, after the winter of no use I gave them another initial charge to get them started

- Answer Yes. I used the power adapter to run the speaker because the battery died. Replace battery from Amazon and it’s been running great.
