• If your car stereo has bluetooth then yes, but it has an audio in port that you can attach your cell phone to it. It is very loud when cranked up all the way.

• Most people use their phone or tablet. It's more dependent on the device than the speaker. Does your car stereo allow for Bluetooth OUTPUT, or only it's own wired speakers?
