• Not in my case. It is designed well. No issues to my vehicles dash, and is the most secure mount I’ve ever owned

• No, I don't have any wear or tear and I've had the same one since 2017... just bought a new one with a back up for later ... my truck is a 2002 and I still have another 250k miles to go.
