• The suction cup is put on a disc that is attached to the dashboard. The disc is is attached to the dash by an adhesive, and is permanent. There is a button that creates a secure suction with the holder. The button also releases the suction so that the holder can be removed.

• I decided to start with just using the suction cup to see if they worked. So far I have not needed the adhesive.

• I’ve only used for a week. I had to add an additional strip of double sided tape to hold in place. I hope it doesn’t damage the dash. It has a warning it might damage Lexus and some other car model but I don’t member that one.
