“I have the i7 with the standard base . If I upgrade and purchase the automatic clean base to replace the standard , is there a new learning process or process to familiarize he i7 with the new base, or does it automatically understand that is “home” now?”

Thank you for reaching out. The i7 will automatically recognize the clean base as the new home charging area. To avoid any disruption to the map, you may choose to place the clean base in the same location as the current standard charger. If you move the Clean Base to a new location, you’ll simply see updated maps as Roomba cleans.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just replaced the old base with the new automatic clean base and changed the dust bin. I placed the i7 on the base and started a job. It did take it a few minutes to recognize the new base but I didn’t have to redo the floor plans.
