• The i7 and s9 both map your floors without a computer. You will need a smart phone or tablet to identify room labels, zones and boundaries. You will also need a smartphone or tablet to kick off the cleaning jobs.

• You can find Clean Maps on the Roomba 960, where the app will return a map of the areas cleaned, including those that required attention. You'll find Smart Maps on the i7 or s9 robots, where the robot maps your home, allows you to label the rooms and then choose which rooms to clean and which to skip (directed room cleaning). Both functions do require the iRobot Home app on your smartphone.
