Q: QuestionDo you need WiFi or app control for this cacuum
Asked by G.
- A:Answer None of the Roombas require WiFi or an app to operate; you can simply press "Clean" on the robot. But if you aren't going to use WiFi, the Roomba 614 is your best bet, as it doesn't provide WiFi connectivity at all.

Q: QuestionDoes it work with just an "On" and "Off" switch ? Don't want one with fancy phone set up and control.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes- you can start Roomba by simply pressing the "Clean" button on the robot itself. It will automatically turn off when it returns to its base at the end of a mission or if it needs to recharge. Or, alternatively, you can simply press "Clean" again to turn it off.

Q: QuestionWhat is the suction rating (Pa) for the robot vacuums?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I don't know what the suction rate of the rumba is , but I will say that I really like it . It picks up nicely in areas that I can't get to with my upright vacuum. Hope this helps.

Q: QuestionWill this vacuum work on black rubber gym flooring?
Asked by RubberFloorProblems.
- A:Answer It's unlikely - all robotic vacuums have challenges with black floors, as at least minimal light needs to be reflected for the cliff sensors. The Roomba s9 has an extra sensor plus technology to address this issue, but nothing further down the line at this point.

Q: QuestionDoes it go over the stairs or stop?

Q: QuestionWhy does it only go in circles?
Asked by Wanda.
- A:Answer The robot will clean in long and short pathways, depending on the area and where dirt is detected. It only cleans in a circle if "spot cleaning" is selected. This mode is intended to cover a specific area (if something spills, for instance) so it concentrates on a 3 foot radius.

Q: Questiondoes the green light stay on when docked
Asked by ron.
- A:Answer No. I expected it too and thought it was broken...turns out it just stays on for 30 seconds then turns off.

Q: QuestionWhy does it keep telling me I have a charging error number one? I just purchased today..
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Check that it is on the charging base correctly. There are two metal pads on the bottom of the roomba - these need to line up to the corresponding ones on the charging base.

Q: QuestionDoes iRobot Roomba 614 vacuum comes in 220 volts?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer All of our Roombas, except for i -Series and Clean Base, will work with dual voltage. In case it's applicable here: we don't recommend customers take the robot from the region in which it is intended as that voids the warranty.
