A:AnswerThe roomba will probably get stuck in the edge of the rug. It did with the mat at the bathroom floor in my house so when I use it Intake the mat off the floor.
A:AnswerNone of the Roombas require WiFi or an app to operate; you can simply press "Clean" on the robot. But if you aren't going to use WiFi, the Roomba 614 is your best bet, as it doesn't provide WiFi connectivity at all.
A:AnswerYes- you can start Roomba by simply pressing the "Clean" button on the robot itself. It will automatically turn off when it returns to its base at the end of a mission or if it needs to recharge. Or, alternatively, you can simply press "Clean" again to turn it off.
A:AnswerI don't know what the suction rate of the rumba is , but I will say that I really like it .
It picks up nicely in areas that I can't get to with my upright vacuum.
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerIt's unlikely - all robotic vacuums have challenges with black floors, as at least minimal light needs to be reflected for the cliff sensors. The Roomba s9 has an extra sensor plus technology to address this issue, but nothing further down the line at this point.
A:AnswerThe robot will clean in long and short pathways, depending on the area and where dirt is detected. It only cleans in a circle if "spot cleaning" is selected. This mode is intended to cover a specific area (if something spills, for instance) so it concentrates on a 3 foot radius.
A:AnswerCheck that it is on the charging base correctly. There are two metal pads on the bottom of the roomba - these need to line up to the corresponding ones on the charging base.
A:AnswerHi- so sorry to hear. Please do reach out to our customer care group so they can troubleshoot you with your robot at hand:
https://www.irobot.com/ for Live Chat, email or FAQ’s, or at 877-855-8593
A:AnswerIt does not, it will navigate back to the docking station after its cleaning process is complete. All the controls (whole house clean, spot clean) are on the top of the unit.
A:AnswerAll of our Roombas, except for i -Series and Clean Base, will work with dual voltage.
In case it's applicable here: we don't recommend customers take the robot from the region in which it is intended as that voids the warranty.
