- Answer Absolutely, I have a blonde Labrador Retriever and her job lately has been to shed. I run my vac bot twice a day on a schedule and I have yet to come home to any hair on the carpet.

QuestionI am interested in the I robot Roomba 880. Will this do laminate & then go right to braided carpet? Any problems accessing the braided carpets?

- Answer Yes. We had no problems traveling to different flooring, including braided, hardwood, and vinyl.

QuestionI'm restating my former question in a more direct manner, concerning damage to BASEBOARDS and WOOD Furniture legs not wood floors, by the side bristles on the Roomba. Did the side bristles cause damage to these areas?

QuestionI read a review that said the Roomba side brushes damaged woodwork and furniture. We just had all our woodwork refinished so this would be a concern. Has this been a problem for anyone else?

QuestionI have a 680 model,which I love. I want to give my daughter a Roomba, but an upgraded model. Can anybody tell me the differences between my less expensive model and one of the higher end models ? Is it worth the extra money ? Thank you !

- Answer If I recall the difference was in the charging system but since we only own the 880 unit we cannot say how it compares to the 680. Check the specs.
