It will vacuum over a cord as long as it is not a thick cord. You can block roomba from going near an area with the tower the comes with it. Roomba has a filter that is changed per manufacturer directions ( not often and it does come with a spare filter). The collection container, itself, doesn’t have a filter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have an extension cord under our bed, which runs to a pedestal fan at the foot of the bed. We haven't had any issues. It either crosses over it completely, or stops there and turns around, but hasn't gotten caught up on it at all. Our Roomba traverses floor vents (for the A/C & heat), a variety of flooring types, and even rugs that our Dyson vacuum sucks up and gets stuck on. The owners manual says to replace the filter every 2 months and the extractors every 6-12 months. Everything else just needs to be emptied, cleaned, etc. Here's the owner's manual: https://content.abt.com/documents/74137/ROOMBA960_manual.pdf
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So far, it hasn't sucked up any cords...even my charger cord to my phone has been down and it will start to drag it but then release. I would think if it is secured from one spot to another it would be ok.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it deals with MOSt electrical cords ok....it even figured out how to navigate around our mass lights. yes there is a filter. there is a replacement in the box. after 2 months no change yet...no problem with filters
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My roomba 960 runs right over extension cords or avoids them completely. It runs under the beds and rarely gets caught up on the cords.
