“What about fringe on carpet? Will it get caught on that? If so, can you program it to just clean the hardwood?”

• Have not had issues on the carpet transitions. But once it’s mapped the house you can setup rooms and tell it which ones to do. We also setup the no vacuum zone so that it doesn’t bother the dogs water bowl.

• Mine vacuums my area rugs without an issue fringe or not without any issues; Not sure about programming.

• With the Roomba 960, you'll want to use the enclosed virtual wall to block off any areas you choose. However, most fringe is not an issue for Roomba.
