“I purchased the robot in march and the robot continually gives the message to reattach the bin. We have tried cleaning sensors and rebooting its clicks into place just fine. What is covered under the one year warranty? We probably need a replacement bin.”

Replacing the bin isn't gonna do you no good, next week it will just be something else. I have had mine 6 months and have had nothing but problems with it. I robot has sent me out several replacements and none of them has worked.
