“Being that the Navigation is camera based, will this vacuum navigate in a dark room such as my basement ( in other words no lights on at all while away at work) once the space has been fully mapped?”

• No it will not work when it is dark, has to have some lighting.

• Hi- Roomba can run in very dark rooms (only ambient light, for example) but not in total darkness. Robotic vacuums with or without cameras require a small amount of light to navigate.

• Probably not. Camera's need light. You could buy some Phillips hue lights and turn those on/off on a schedule that would match the Roomba schedule.
