Nope just place it on the new level you want to clean and press clean. It'll create a new map of the new space as it goes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you would have to move it between floors. This vacuum does support multiple floors. It uses the camera to figure out the layout. We have two floors that are almost identical and it knows the difference between the two. This is useful if you set different zones that you don't want to clean on each floor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you will have to move ot to each floor. I believe you have to create separate maps for each floor this prevents it from being confused. I have a single story so I don't have much experience with that part, but in all of my reading I do remember reading about the map options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bad news is there aren't any robotic vacuums that can climb stairs yet, so you do have to carry Roomba to each level. Fortunately it's lightweight and it's easy to do so. The good news is that it will not get confused. This robot will store each of the floor level maps and will quickly orient itself no matter where you start or stop it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You clearly would need. Three Roombas. And an elevator so you don’t have to walk the stairs. Duh.
