• No. You have to purchase the + for that. It is an extra $200. For that amount, I will empty the bin myself.

• No. There is a different I7 designation that comes with the self emptying feature.

• The i7 alone does not empty it’s own bin, although it is not difficult. You can purchase the i7+ which comes with the larger docking station that offers automatic emptying of the onboard collector. The i7 unit is the same for both the i7 & the i7+. If the vacuum becomes full during its cycle it will return to the docking station to either empty itself (i7+) or it notifies you that it need to be emptied (i7 with standard docking station) In both cases once the vacuum is emptied it then returns to the vacuuming job where it left off. We love our iRobot i7 Roomba.
