Yes the machine does both kinds of floors. I am not sure about unscented products, I just bought the wet pads with the cleaner in them and didn't see multiple options. You can only use water in the machine. The cleaning pads you buy for it have the cleaner already in them. The only regret about buying the Bravvo Jet is when it says does small areas it's not kidding. Just to get my livingroom mopped I have to move the mop 5 times. I should have bought the bigger one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello CJSM, Braava Jet M6 & 240 will clean both hardwood & linoleum flooring. The hard floor cleaning solution has a slight scent to it. Using anything other than water and/or the cleaning solution may damage or clog the precision jet sprayer.

Please try again later.I don't see why it couldn't be used on multiple floor types, I would probably vary the solution you use in it though depending on the type of floor you are cleaning. As for solution, I don't believe it is "officially supported" but you can probably put whatever you want in it. All it does is spray it on the floor and push it around with a mopping pad, so if a regular mop can use it, this should be able to as well. That said, I would steer clear of particularly corrosive substances given it will be contained in the unit and has to flow through tubes to the nozzle.
