“I have a couple of 5x7 shag rugs and one is dense. Will it vacuum these or do I have to take them up”

• No it will not vacuum a very thick longish SHAG rug. It hung up and stopped.

• I received my Roomba S9+ today and tried it out on my very thick longish "shag" rug. I have major back issues so was hoping to not have to vacuum again. It will not vacuum it at all. It stopped after only a little vacuuming. I have it on it's training run now to do the map layout and then to see if I can remove the rug from the map. I will see as paying that much for it and me still having to vacuum some may not be worth it. I have two 5x7 thick shag rugs in different areas of the home.

• Hello bjr, Roomba s9+ would work particularly well on thick carpet.
