• Yes, but you want to run the first 5 cycles during the day with good lighting. This helps the sensors detect its environment. Otherwise you may have problems with the onboard map. Also, it’s not quite. Like at all. Don’t expect it to clean your room while you get some sleep unless your a haven’t sleeper.

• It says to have lights on but we operate during the day while we are gone and it goes underneath couches and beds that are pretty dark so I would say kind of. Have not tested in complete darkness but it works great in this areas that are dark.
