• Yes it plays in stereo and sounds really good.. (pro tip: make sure Dolby NR is turned off and turn off any EQ on your phone and use the head units EQ settings)

• This one plays in stereo on my car's radio (2004 Volvo). It sounds great and I haven't had any problems with it. You can always return it if it only plays in mono so what's there to lose?
