This maybe just me or my car but when taking phone calls it can be rather low on the volume side that I have to blast my speakers but not when listening to music. I'm still glad I got it because it works great when playing music and using Siri when needed. I do wish the button was on the side because it can be difficult to press when it's facing downward but if the jack is located on the top then you should be fine. I would recommend, if you don't want to pay for a new stereo or Bluetooth installment.

This product was nice and works wonderful for playing phone through car speakers. I have used fm transmitters in the past and with tape deck adaptor their is not interference of stations. Very happy with product!!

A recent visit to Texas where they have hands free calling laws in place sent me to best buy. My blazer is 2003 so it only had a cassette player and cd player. No aux or bluetooth connection. I needed something that would work with my cell phone. I purchased this cassette hands free device. Works like a charm. It is flawless in the communications. I can clearly hear the caller thru my car speakers. It is really easy to just connect to the headphones port. press tape and enjoy hands free calling. Everyone that I spoke to commented that it was very clear. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that doesn't have bluetooth and wants handsfree calling

It actually works. For the poor and unfortunate people that must live like cavemen going through life with a tape deck in their car, they can now listen to what I assume is their first generation iPod or iPhone 4 by plugging in to this bad boy. ( also works with newer phones). I was driving my dad's old Chevy with my iPhone 6+ plugged into his tape deck through the iSimple cassette adapter and the sound was tolerable. My ears did not bleed once.

I had to drive my dad's older car for a while and the only way to listen to my Apple Music on my iPhone was through the tape player... This does exactly what it is supposed to do. Sound quality was pretty good. It's not optimal, but in a pinch this is a good option.

As expected, the functions such as skip does not work on my Samsung GS6. Only working function js play/pause. Overall it feels high quality and would last longer than over cassete - aux adapters I bought.

That moment when you realize that your mom's car doesn't have an auxiliary port but has a tape player, enter a smart phone, this is the perfect in between to get Hands free calling and playing music!

Not as clear sounding as hard line or FM signal on Sirius radio, but more than adequate. Los Angeles area has too much FM clutter to use FM and truck radio doesn't have audio input line. Audio quality is just fine, as truck noise drowns out any audio hiss.

Was happy with the purchase, only complaint is that the sound for music seems to be drowned out or not of the best quality. The push to answer a call button is nice though!

I use this in an older vehicle to stream music from my phone and the clarity is as good an HD radio and satellite, without the monthly subscription. Also allows me to make hands free calls.

I bought this not expecting the best sound quality but was surprised at how good it sounded. I read a lot of reviews about cassette to aux adapters being easily broken but mine sounds great and works just as great as when I bought it. This is the best alternative to buy versus getting a whole new radio. Can't beat $20 too for the quality you receive.

Texas heat is brutal on these if you're not careful. I've bought several of these and they've all warped or lost clarity within a couple of months... Except for this one!
If you're like me and still need this archaic adapter because you're saving up for that perfect system... This is the one!

I have a '98 mercury with only a tape player and fm radio and this has been a lifesaver. I had only come into BB for a tape adapter to listen to music from my itunes. But this one also allows me to have hands free calling wich is a great plus. The fast forward and pause button is a very convenient feature.

Good Product
I have a cassette player in my vehicle and opted for this product since it has a built in microphone.
I also purchased the Bluetooth version and the wired one sound considerably better.
No need to charge like the Bluetooth version
Very satisfied with the wired version
