Yes, the JCD382 Ultra Drive Dock will work with a MacBook Pro 16.

It will, but if you have a protective case, there may be an issue with plugging the device into the side ports. I had to carefully chop off part of the bottom section of my case in order to plug it in. Otherwise, I'd have to remove the bottom portion of the protective plastic case when I wanted to plug it in.
