- Answer The charging port for the surface pro 7 and the dock ports are different so there is no interference with each other.

- Answer Unforutnately the JCD324B is only compatible with the Surface Pro 7 at this time. For the Surface Pro 4 i would recommend the JDD320B found here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/j5create-ultradriveminidock-for-surface-pro-4-5-and-6-black/6381213.p?skuId=6381213

- Answer If you just want to add an additional display via HDMI, the JCC153G, JCA153G or JCC155G are a few options. If you are looking more into multiple ports, any Docking Stations with USB-C connection will work.
