“Hi! Excited to try this adapter for my needs. I have an "old" laptop whose GPU will not support 4k. My question...will this USB3 to 4k HDMI adapter effectiely be an external GPU to support 4k? Or does my built-in GPU need to be used (and thus no 4k)?”
