Will this work on an Acer Chromebook 315 null

Hello Rebecca, The j5create - 2-Port USB 3.0 Hub with HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet USB Type-C Adapter (JCA374) is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Chromebook computers that supports the following feature over their USB-C ports: DisplayPort Alternate Mode, USB Power Delivery, and USB 3.0. So long as the Acer Chromebook 315 supports these features, the JCA374 will operated as specified.

Not sure, it was purchased for a mac which uses a fire port (at the computer) to the USB Port on the device. If your computer has this then it should work.
