Yes, the HP Pavilion 15-eg0081cl supports a Type-C 10Gbps signaling rate with USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4 to transmit audio and video signals and pass-through charge. This Dock will also require an installation of a driver for the VGA, Mic and the stand alone HDMI port for functionality. Drivers are available on j5create website under the "Support" tab. Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This docking station works with a PC that has a USB C or Thunderbolt port. Ideally, you want to use a Thunderbolt Port because most PCs will also charge through that port. I have 6 of these, and they all work great. I run two large monitors, wired ethernet, mouse, keyboard, remote webcam, and laptop cooler, all from each docking station. The Laptop you mentioned above, from the HP support site says the laptop has the following: 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge). So I would say that this docking station should work with this laptop.
