• Yes, you should be able to find a privacy cover to work with this webcam.

• For privacy, just unplug the cord or put a small piece of cloth over the camera. I use a little black cloth 6" x 4" draped over the camera and scotch tape it on the screen otherwise when not in use, I just unplug the cord.
