“I have the power connected to the monitor stand "Power" plug and my monitor plugged into the HDMI Monitor plug on the Monitor stand and a USB-C cable from my laptop to the "Host" plug on the monitor stand but I am not getting signal to my monitor.”

The Wood Monitor Stand with Docking Station requires a computer to support DisplayPort Alt Mode for video out via HDMI, a well as Power Deliver 2.0 or 3.0 for pass-through charge. This Dock is a PnP device and without those features, the Dock will not work towards your computer.
