• It can be closed and under or to the side depending on how the operating system is configured for when the lid is closed.

• Yes; however, if it is a 2-in-1, this will likely not be possible. When the kid is closed it goes into tablet mode and doesn’t end up working with screen correctly.

• (For a Mac) You can close your laptop while connected to the external display through the stand IF you also have your laptop charger plugged into the stand and/or the laptop.
