This Docking Station requires a computer to support Plug n Play features such as DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery over USB-C. If you are using a high-powered USB device, attach a USB-C power adapter to the power delivery port. When using a USB-C power adapter, the multi-adapter powers both the adapter (with attached peripherals) and your laptop.
