Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, that is one of the drawbacks. They are made of a thicker rubber/plastic with a thicker neckband. The reason, I believe is because theses are meant primarily for speaking, so the thicker wires enable the microphone to stay closer the mouth, which it does effectively. In a few weeks of using, no one has ever said they couldn't hear me or that my mic cut in and out. But the sound and mic are great quality.
