What does the 3 dings (ding, ding, ding) mean? null

Usually means that you are out of range from your phone.

The three "dings" means that your device is out of range.

When I hear those 3 dong sounds it lets me know to charge my Bluetooth or I'm to far away from the device I'm linked to.

I believe that is letting you know that the device needs to be recharged.
