Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Dear customer, thank you for your interest in Jackery products. We regret to inform you that the Jackery Explorer 100 Plus does not come equipped with an AC outlet, which means it is not capable of powering a TV directly. However, we recommend considering the Jackery Explorer 600 Plus for your needs. With an average TV power consumption of 100W, the Explorer 600 Plus could theoretically provide approximately 5.3 hours of runtime for a 55" TV. Please note that this runtime data is for reference only and actual performance may vary depending on the specific power requirements of your TV and other operating conditions. Q: QuestionIf this power station was fully charged, how many days in a row should I be able to fully charge an iPhone from 0% to 100% before the power station would need to be recharged?
Asked by DH.
- A:Answer iPhones have battery capacities that vary from around 7 Watt-hours to 17 Watt-Hours. The Jackery Explorer 100 Plus has a 99.2 Watt-hour battery of LiFEPO4 cells. Jackery estimates 15% of the battery power is lost in the voltage conversion to deliver power to a device, which leaves about 85 Watt-hours available into the device. Lithium-ion batteries will waste less than 10% of the power used to charge them. So, altogether, from the Jackery Explorer 100 Plus, about 77 Watt-hours will make it inside the battery of an iPhone when charging. For an iPhone with a small battery, that would equate to about 11 charges from 0-100%. For an iPhone with a large battery, one could expect to get 4-5 full charges from 0-100%.

Q: QuestionWhat solar panels are compatible w/ the Jackery Explorer 100?
Asked by wolfhound.
- A:Answer Dear customer, thank you for your inquiry. The Jackery Explorer 100 is compatible with all wattages of SolarSaga series solar panels, which includes the 40W mini, 100W, and 200W solar panels. However, for optimal efficiency, we recommend pairing the E100 Plus with either the 40W mini or the 100W solar panel. These options are designed to work seamlessly with your E100 Plus, ensuring the best performance. Q: QuestionCan a small 10-watt solar panel be used to charge this unit?
Asked by Pickles.
- A:Answer Hello, Thank you for your question! The Jackery Explorer 100 Plus supports solar charging via its compatible Jackery solar panels (e.g., SolarSaga 40W or higher). While a 10W solar panel could technically provide a very small charge, it would be extremely inefficient and may not meet the voltage and current requirements needed for safe and effective charging. We recommend using the Jackery SolarSaga 40W or larger panels for optimal performance and charging speed. Asked by bruce.
- A:Answer Dear customer, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the Jackery Explorer 100 Plus is designed to meet TSA guidelines for carry-on luggage. Q: QuestionThe specifications state the "Maximum Runtime At Full Load" is 6 hours. The max load is 120 watts. So, that would be 720 watt hours. Someone should probably remove or revise the 6-hour runtime claim.
Asked by IowaCityTech.
- A:Answer Hello, Thank you for reaching out and for your insightful comment. We truly appreciate your attention to detail. You are correct in noting the confusion. The "Maximum Runtime at Full Load" is based on the assumption that the device is running at full load continuously. The 6-hour runtime refers to the maximum time the Explorer 290 can power a device that draws 120W continuously, which is around 720Wh. However, real-world usage may vary depending on the type of device being powered and the power draw fluctuations. We will definitely take your feedback into consideration to clarify this information and ensure accurate communication in the future.or additional support, you can reach us at [email protected] or +1-888-502-2236 (Weekdays, 9 AM to 5 PM PST). Q: QuestionCan this power a mifi and security camera continuously if using a solar panel to charge it?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Dear customer, thank you for your interest in our Jackery products. The Explorer 100 Plus can be charged by solar panels during the day and provide power for your Wi-Fi router and security camera. However, please keep the following points in mind: 1. Power Consumption: Wi-Fi routers typically consume 5-20W. Digital Video Recorders (DVRs), especially those with 24/7 monitoring or wireless functionality, use around 40-60W. If both devices run simultaneously, the E100 Plus can provide approximately 1 hour of power, depending on the total power consumption and the remaining battery capacity. 2. Solar Panel Charging Limitations: Solar panels cannot store energy; they can only charge the power station when exposed to sufficient sunlight. If there is consistent sunlight throughout the day, the solar panels can continuously charge the E100 Plus, allowing it to supply power to your devices. However, in cases of cloudy weather, shorter daylight hours, or winter conditions, solar charging efficiency may be reduced, making it difficult to support 24/7 power supply. 3. Nighttime Power Limitations: Since solar panels do not generate power at night, the E100 Plus will rely solely on its stored battery capacity. With a full charge, it can provide around 1 hour of power for your devices. If daytime charging is insufficient, it may not be able to sustain power through the night. Recommendation: For continuous 24/7 operation, consider a higher-capacity power station to ensure uninterrupted power supply. Q: QuestionCan I use this in the Philippines . The Philippines operates on a 220V supply voltage and 60Hz
Asked by Irish.
- A:Answer Dear customer, currently, our Jackery Explorer series, which includes the model you are looking at, come equipped with 120V outlets. These are designed in accordance with the standard U.S. voltage of 120V and a power frequency of 60Hz. While the Explorer series can provide power to devices that require 120V, it is not designed to supply electricity to devices that demand voltage exceeding this limit. Additionally, the 220V supply voltage in the Philippines is not compatible with the charging requirements of the Jackery Explorer 100 Plus, which could lead to charging incompatibility. Q: QuestionIs this device TSA approved to be a carry on device?
Asked by Bob.
- A:Answer Dear customer, thank you for your inquiry about the Jackery products. Most power stations available on the market for general consumer and commercial use typically do not require TSA approval, as they are not associated with air transportation. As such, there are no restrictions on transporting these products in your vehicle for travel purposes, even though they contain lithium batteries. The product you are inquiring about features a 99Wh battery capacity, which is fully compliant with UN 38.3 transportation standards for lithium batteries. Please note that while passengers are generally allowed to carry lithium batteries with a capacity of 100Wh or less without special airline approval, regulations can vary by country and airline. We recommend checking the specific guidelines of your travel carrier for the most accurate information. If you have any further questions or need assistance in selecting the most suitable product for your travel needs, please feel free to reach out (Customer Service: [email protected] / +1-888-502-2236 Weekdays 9AM to 5PM PST). Q: QuestionWill this raise a power recliner to a seated position during a power outage
Asked by Robin.
- A:Answer We regret to inform you that the Jackery Explorer 100 Plus is not equipped with an AC outlet, which is typically required to power electric recliners. Additionally, electric recliners generally consume between 100-300 watts of electricity. Given that the Explorer 100 Plus has a battery capacity of 99Wh, it unfortunately does not have the capacity to power a recliner. In the event of a power outage, for devices that require AC power or higher wattage, we recommend considering our higher-capacity models such as the Jackery Explorer 1000, 1000 Plus, or 2000 Plus. These models are designed to provide emergency backup power for a wider range of applications. If you have any further questions or concerns about using our products, or if you would like more information on our other models, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team. We are here to assist you and ensure you have the right solution for your needs (Customer Service: [email protected] / +1-888-502-2236 Weekdays 9AM to 5PM PST). Warm regards, Jackery Support Team
