Dear customer, thank you for your interest in our Jackery products. The Explorer 100 Plus can be charged by solar panels during the day and provide power for your Wi-Fi router and security camera. However, please keep the following points in mind: 1. Power Consumption: Wi-Fi routers typically consume 5-20W. Digital Video Recorders (DVRs), especially those with 24/7 monitoring or wireless functionality, use around 40-60W. If both devices run simultaneously, the E100 Plus can provide approximately 1 hour of power, depending on the total power consumption and the remaining battery capacity. 2. Solar Panel Charging Limitations: Solar panels cannot store energy; they can only charge the power station when exposed to sufficient sunlight. If there is consistent sunlight throughout the day, the solar panels can continuously charge the E100 Plus, allowing it to supply power to your devices. However, in cases of cloudy weather, shorter daylight hours, or winter conditions, solar charging efficiency may be reduced, making it difficult to support 24/7 power supply. 3. Nighttime Power Limitations: Since solar panels do not generate power at night, the E100 Plus will rely solely on its stored battery capacity. With a full charge, it can provide around 1 hour of power for your devices. If daytime charging is insufficient, it may not be able to sustain power through the night. Recommendation: For continuous 24/7 operation, consider a higher-capacity power station to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
