  • QuestionI have an enclosed gas fireplace that can keep our house above freezing even when we don't use our furnace. In the event of an electrical outage, I need a battery operated generator that will keep the fan going. What do you suggest?

    • Answer I used the Jackery 290 for a 120, heater. It lasted 2 hours. To run your fireplace fan you would need a bigger one, and (depending on the length of time you dont have power) possibly 2 batteries on rotation. I would get at least the Jackery 1000 or 1500 for the purpose pf the fireplace fan.
