Yes I tried my cpap when I first got it to see if it would and it did and it should last for 8 hours on a full charge

Norm, I think it will run your CPAP overnight; if that's all you have plugged in at a time. Just be sure to recharge the unit and keep it as fully charged as you can. The solar panel works great when positioned properly in the direct sunlight, outside. It won't charge through glass. I would try it at home, overnight, & test it out well in advance of going camping. There is a limited time that you can return the device. So try it after you charge it for the 1st time. Good luck.
