• Pause yes volume control is minimal. Only affects actual volume just a little. Main volume control is via your cellphone.

• Yes, that's the best thing about them, they can be operated with gloves on, through a hood and a hat.

• Volume yes. Have not played music through them. I strictly use them for phone calls only. they also have a long battery life .
